Trike 1991-2

Trike
Leeds, 1991-2

This trike was a special order, and the only one known to have been built in modern times. David Miller remembers:
...built by Danny Foster. I remember it quite vividly, it was the only trike that I know of, during my time at Jacksons, that had Hetchins transfers fitted and I remember the significant colour scheme. The rear axles for trikes were bought from either Rogers or Longstaffs. The latter supplier was always reluctant to sell Jacksons a trike axle, as it was obviously in competition to their own trikes. They were also twice the price. However, I am certain the axle on [this frame] was a Longstaff, as it has a drum brake fitted and Rogers never offered that facility.
