The frame was built by Chris Yeomans in autumn 2023. Argos did the paint: Flam Viola on a silver undercoat which gives a finish similar to cromovelato. Chris built the bespoke pannier rack - no nuts&bolts! I'd owned a set of Bates Diadrant forks for some time, and Chris built the frame up for both these and the conventional forks pictured. Argos painted them both, so I have the option of curly forks when the mood takes.
The frame is designed to accommodate large tyres and mudguards so the bike can comfortably take on UK Sustrans trails. Inaugural run out was the Devon Coast to coast trail and it worked perfectly. I'm a Campag enthusiast and felt a silver groupset would best suit - hence the 50/34 crankset and 11-32 cassette which give the range for my local Dartmoor.
The hip flask habitually carries navy rum in homage to my background.
