This is the second-oldest frame known to have survived; it was built on 5 November 1935 and sold to a dealer in December. The bike was purchased by the present owner's father in June 1936; he used it daily for many years in his work as a travelling insurance salesman. The present owner had it renovated.
Components are mostly 1950s vintage and include GB Coureur brakes, levers, and stem; Airlight hubs; Chater Lea head clip; Williams crank with modern pedals; 700c tires and rims; 5sp. Sturmey Archer hub gear.
