This Competition was made in spring 1946. The Competition model was offered in Mk 1, 2, and 3 versions. Mk 2 and 3 had the same lug pattern, a modified form of the Chater Lea lugs which were used on the Mk 1. Mk 2 and 3 apparently differed only in components. This one features Mk 2/3 lugs. The chromed stem is modern and was made by Rob Mather. The seat tube transfer has been reproduced from an original pre-War design. |
