This Magnum Bonum was first sold to R. Hanning of 188 High street, London N15, on 22 September 1956, and cost £16 16s. The original receipt is extant. It was ordered with strengthening struts to the seat and chain stays, probably for time trialing. It features black enamel finish with original painted head badge and hand lettering on the down tube. Components include Stronglight 49 crank with TA ring, Campag Gran Sport mech, Mafac Racer brakes and levers, Brooks saddle and Campag NR pin.
