This 1938 Brilliant D/G tandem measures 22 1⁄2 inches by 22 inches and has a fluted seat tube. The finish is green with orange bands, chrome ends & head lugs. Components include Hetchins Brilliant handlebar stem with alloy bars, Cyclo four-speed gears, Chater Lea in-line chainsets, Constrictor platform pedals, Resilion brakes, Dunlop 26" x 1 3/8" Lightweight stainless steel rims on Airlight large flange tandem hubs, Brooks saddles on alloy seat pins, white Bantells 'Beau Regard' mudguards. The restoration was over ten years in the making: the frame was restored by Hetchins in 1990; locating period-correct components required two years, and the component restoration and re-fitting was completed in 2003.
