This is a professional race machine: amateurs would have mounted a temporary front brake and ridden to the track; this frame has no bore holes for front or rear brakes, so it could have been ridden only at the track. The fork has very little rake, the toe clips overlap the front tire; very tight clearance between the rear tire and the seat tube; tied and soldered spokes; and creased chain stays all confirm the pure race geometry. The frame features wrapover seat stays. It was probably made in 1974.
The components include a Campagnolo crank set with hi-flange hubs, Cinelli bar and stem.
