A reader has sent the following fotos of his cycling tour from Rome to Siena on a 1947 Massed Start model Super X, 23-inch, curly, first sold 17 July 1947, price 33 pounds 7 pence, a complete bike at that fabulous sum, possibly with special paint or chrome originally. The current owner fitted a Bates-style Diadrant fork. Note wooden rims. Check out his rides on Strava. |
